EMPOWERED WOMEN

Lauren Bergiel

Lauren Bergiel is a Certified Professional Life Coach who is passionate about supporting and guiding people to design the life they really want, achieve their goals, and live in alignment with their values.

With a bachelor’s degree in finance, Lauren worked her way up the corporate ladder. Within five years, she became one of her company’s youngest Assistant Controllers. However, she found that the corporate structure didn’t afford her the flexibility she truly desired. Therefore, in 2009, she took a bold leap and left that company to start her own business.

Amid a countrywide economic crisis, Lauren faced many struggles and quickly adapted, forging a new path as a Realtor, and closing over $40 million in real estate sales. She achieved everything she thought she wanted. However, something was still missing.

Then at 33, tragedy struck: Lauren was diagnosed with breast cancer. Facing a battle for her life, she trained her mind to look for opportunities and “mine for the gold” that the journey would provide. She learned to cultivate her power, surrender to the present moment, and intentionally create her identity. This is what was missing from her life and led to the fulfillment she was seeking!

Now healthy and thriving, Lauren continues to apply those lessons and is committed to sharing them with the world. She helps people connect deeply with themselves, challenge limiting beliefs, and create a roadmap that leads them to the life they really want.

With over 1500 hours invested in leadership, communication, and coach training, Lauren is a graduate of the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and Landmark Worldwide and is an International Coaching Federation credentialed Associate Certified Coach.

EMPOWERED WOMEN

Brittany Prince

Brittany Prince served in the United States Army from 2013-2018. During her time in the service, she was faced with a traumatic event that changed her life. In 2013, she was sexually assaulted by another service member. However, she still pushed forward and was able to put her offender on trial. By the Grace of God, she won. Since then, she has been a strong advocate in helping programs spread awareness of sexual assault/harassment in the military. She has worked alongside the Army’s Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program (SHARP). She has even spoken out about her assault during a few of their events. In 2017, she had her first baby, Lucas. It changed her life forever. It gave her new perspectives on life and what was really important. The following year, she was able to get out of the military. She became a stay-at-home mother, and in 2019, she had her second baby, Lyla. Brittany loved everything about being able to raise her own kids, but she still felt like there was something missing. She wanted to do more, so in 2020, she started her bachelor’s degree from Liberty University, studying business (entrepreneurship). She eventually wants to have her own business helping women heal from their trauma. In 2021, she has now been given an opportunity to inspire others by telling her story in a book called “Overcoming Mediocrity: Empowered Women.” She not only wants to inspire others to be their best selves, but she wants to teach her kids that there is no obstacle they can’t get through.

Sharon Whitehead

Overcoming Mediocrity - Volume VII

VICTORIOUS WOMEN

Sharon Whitehead

Sharon Whitehead

By the age of 50, having suffered a stroke and a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, Sharon’s days of working as a registered nurse, or any constant job, were over. Feeling lost, bitter and angry, she wondered what was next. She cried, begging God to tell her the purpose for still being alive. Hadn’t going through abuse, neglect and trauma in her life been enough? Why was everything her fault? When would she feel loved?

To encourage herself and others dealing with emotional and physical pain, Sharon began a Facebook page called “Purpose Beyond the Pain.” A safe place to share, be accepted, and learn while applying self-compassion. She also led “The Journey”, a group of overcomers dealing with heartaches, learning to trust God and others. She believed that there was strength in a positive, caring and honest community.

Today, Sharon is a masterful speaker, author, coach and RN. She understands that the body, spirit and mind are intricately connected into one being. She is also a certified trauma recovery coach. She believes that when a person experiences trauma, the body absorbs and reacts while causing physical issues. She loves to laugh and dance, and has been called a” ray of sunshine” on a dark day. Her ability to find the positive, to help others with personal development, and to match the efforts of individuals wanting help are a few of her strong points.

Share the hope! Are you ready to be inspired, challenged and empowered to take control of your life? Sharon will speak honestly and with empathy. She will connect and liberate your audience. She believes that you too can be free from being beat down and totally misunderstood. You are invited to call and hear her story as she offers hope, healing and vision to your group.
