My Story
Escaped the Black Hole: And Lived to Tell the Tale
Tonya was a single child, who grew up active in her church community. By the time she was twenty, she had her own car, a good job, and her own apartment. All of that changed when a childhood friend moved next door and introduced her to freebasing cocaine. Ten years of her life was consumed by this drug. She knew that something had to change or she was going to die, so she prayed. God answered her prayers, which led her down the path of quitting, cold turkey. She was able to escape the black hole that she was living in with help from God.
