UNSTOPPABLE WOMEN

Amber
Champagne-Matos

Amber Champagne-Matos, the owner and founder of Brows on Main and Prohibition Skin, believes in doing what you love; not what you once loved. Amber is a licensed esthetician, skincare entrepreneur, and former U.S. Educator for Benefit Cosmetics! During her career with Benefit, she traveled the country extensively, trained thousands of other estheticians, and became one of the first-ever National Senior Educators. Amber also also wrote groundbreaking educational content for the company, both nationally and internationally, assisting Benefit in successfully implementing and executing exceptional internal development programs and client-facing product education. This contributed to their remarkable corporate growth. To put that in perspective, Benefit is one of the fastest-growing major players in the beauty industry employing more than 6,000 estheticians world-wide. Benefit does business in 59 countries across five continents and is part of the world-renowned luxury brand, Louis Vuitton. Her experience with this major cosmetics brand gave her the edge and knowledge she needed to confidently face the world of beauty and dare to dream. She opened her own business, created a beauty blog, and has an up and coming skincare line. Since opening Brows on Main, she has helped many women overcome what she has now called “The Midlife Skin Crisis.”

Amber currently resides in Southern California with her husband Tony and son Liam. Although she lives in California, she considers herself truly “East Coast” at heart, is fascinated by the Enneagram (she’s a 4w5 with strong 3 tendencies), and once did makeup during New York’s famous fashion week. This is the story of one woman’s experience in learning how to lean in to difficult circumstances and emotions and utilize self-compassion to heal. The goal is not to no longer lose your marbles or fall down. It is to learn to be OK with falling down, to keep standing back up and re-collecting those marbles, and to love yourself through it all.
