Jeanmarie Dwyer-Wrigley
Jeanmarie Dwyer-Wrigley, M.S., has been facilitating women’s groups since 1979. Her achievements include co-founding “A Woman’s Place”, a drop-in center for homeless women in Chicago. She opened the doors of WomensWisdom in 1993. She was awarded the Marilyn Gorski Service from Loyola Mundelein University for work with homeless women and the Appreciation Service Award from the Naperville/Lisle Women’s Association. She has appeared on cable television shows regarding self-esteem empowerment. She obtained a Master of Science degree, with a focus on addictions counseling. She is also a handwriting analyst. Her hobbies are reading, tap dancing, acting and her two cats, Tuffy and Nighty Nite. She lives with her husband in the northwest suburbs.

Unlikely Angel
Who would have thought a woman, who did not like me at first, would become my friend? As a friend, she believed in me and taught me to believe in myself. I changed from a woman not feeling worthy to a woman of empowerment. She changed from my friend to my angel.
