Lauren Bergiel

Lauren Bergiel is a Certified Professional Life Coach who is passionate about supporting and guiding people to design the life they really want, achieve their goals, and live in alignment with their values.

With a bachelor’s degree in finance, Lauren worked her way up the corporate ladder. Within five years, she became one of her company’s youngest Assistant Controllers. However, she found that the corporate structure didn’t afford her the flexibility she truly desired. Therefore, in 2009, she took a bold leap and left that company to start her own business.

Amid a countrywide economic crisis, Lauren faced many struggles and quickly adapted, forging a new path as a Realtor, and closing over $40 million in real estate sales. She achieved everything she thought she wanted. However, something was still missing.

Then at 33, tragedy struck: Lauren was diagnosed with breast cancer. Facing a battle for her life, she trained her mind to look for opportunities and “mine for the gold” that the journey would provide. She learned to cultivate her power, surrender to the present moment, and intentionally create her identity. This is what was missing from her life and led to the fulfillment she was seeking!

Now healthy and thriving, Lauren continues to apply those lessons and is committed to sharing them with the world. She helps people connect deeply with themselves, challenge limiting beliefs, and create a roadmap that leads them to the life they really want.

With over 1500 hours invested in leadership, communication, and coach training, Lauren is a graduate of the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and Landmark Worldwide and is an International Coaching Federation credentialed Associate Certified Coach.

EMPOWERED WOMEN

Lindsey Oaks

At the tender age of 17, Lindsey Oaks informed her parents that she would be moving 500 miles away to pursue a career competing horses as a professional upon graduation from school. She did this even though she’d never competed in a regulation competition! Over the next decade, Lindsey would repeatedly learn how to become an entrepreneur the hard way. She did make it, establishing herself as a competitor on the world stage and as a top-tier horse trainer and coach to aspiring equestrians. During a stint working in the racehorse industry, Lindsey convinced her boss to buy her an “expensive camera” to provide owners of young racehorses with nice photographs of their future stars in training. She quickly found, however, that she had no idea how to work this fancy equipment! A crash course in photography, and a few years later, Lindsey launched a photography business creating branding images specifically for entrepreneurs. Right away, Lindsey saw that many of the starving artists, creative freelancers, and brilliant speakers hiring her, had no idea how to seize their own personal brand’s marketing power. Realizing that her unique experience as a coach provided her with the opportunity to help others reach their potential, she began assisting them in developing clear, cohesive messaging across platforms.

Lindsey now lives in the Chicago suburbs with her favorite model: her dog Leroy. She spends her time teaching “horse-crazy kids” (and adults) to communicate effectively with 1000 lb. animals who don’t speak English and creating strategies for coaches, consultants, and influencers to communicate with the world. Her clients describe her as a coffee-addicted, high-energy smarty pants, who tells stories to teach lessons.

My Story

Dreams Carried on Horseback

At the tender age of 17, Lindsey Oaks informed her parents that she would be moving 500 miles away to pursue a career competing horses as a professional upon graduation from school. The crazy part? She’d never competed in a regulation competition. Lindsey’s is the unlikely story of a kid from South Georgia, who, together with her equine partner “Taylor,” climbed the ranks to compete on the world stage and the real-world lessons they learned along the way. These were lessons that Lindsey would one day use as a framework to help others project their voice into the world.

My Story

Comedy 101: Unconditional Forgiveness

When People Feel Safe to Express Their Truth, in Play, They Have Room For…? The Pandemic of 2020 presents an exciting rose gold lining. Kids and adults have begun to express their creative side in communion. It seems that we have all started using the modalities of comedy and performance videos to feel safe in expressing our passions and truths in ways that we could have never imagined decades ago. Through joke-telling, sketch performances, and funny internet videos, we have inspired future generations to allow for more laughter, play, and real discovery in all areas of our lives. With that, people become emotional when navigating media and sense the need for the truth now more than ever. Just because your backgrounds are palm trees doesn’t mean your life is! Simply, for society becoming fully online while knowing learning to navigate the live video calls, meetings, and odd errands, is like a woman having to get a zoom-divorce as the judge’s cat joins the session. It has made us aware of how much of our behavior is observed in ways that previous generations did not face. Each video meeting will showcase layers of new information, all hiding-in-plain-sight. Not to worry, we are in a whole new world. I’d like to help you feel more grounded in your own-ness! Therefore, my article is slightly different because it requires you, the reader, to engage.
