The Serenity Prayer – Many Lessons in Authenticity
The Serenity Prayer has been an effective tool in helping me to find my authenticity. The Serenity Prayer teaches me acceptance and willingness to let go of things that I cannot change. I cannot change my past but can change how I live in the present. I pray daily for wisdom. My heart screams daily for being creative, unique, and different. The world and my own self esteem tell me that I don’t fit in. Wisdom gives me the courage to follow my authentic voice. It is there that I find serenity and peace.
