Lynn is the oldest of four children. She graduated from Kennedy High School in Chicago. She resides on the southwest side of Chicago with her rescued dogs (one of them with only three legs). Lynn has proudly served the City of Chicago for over twenty five years as a police officer. During her service, Lynn received Officer of the Month, several letters of commendation, and numerous Department Honorable Mentions for her dedication and investigational skills. Her awards for Distinguished Service and Valor were awarded on the city, state, and national levels.

Her community service includes dedicating her time to coaching girls’ softball, cookie drives with Girl Scouts, raising funds for the Illinois Patriot Education Fund, collecting food for The Wounded Warriors, and obtaining toys for Toys for Tots.  Lynn not only gives her time, but also her hair. She shaved her head completely bald for St. Baldrick’s in order to show solidarity with the children stricken with cancer as well as to raise donations for children’s cancer research. Lynn is a member of the International Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club having held executive offices at the local level. Lynn is Chapter Director of the Oak Lawn Dynamic Professional Women’s Network. She is very proud of her Irish ancestry and is a member and Director of the Emerald Society of Illinois.

Lynn is always optimistic, hardworking and willing to help and to teach. She is dedicated in her beliefs, honest, reliable, and shows integrity in everything that she does. She is now retired and is spending more time in the community as well as developing new interests.
