Kim Brondyke
Kim Brondyke, Certified Professional Coach (CPC), certified workshop facilitator and speaker, is the founder of The Empowered Survivor. She helps those who have experienced life-altering trauma find healing, empowerment and freedom. Her motivational approach and caring insight helps clients who are merely surviving day-to-day rather than thriving to reframe situations, overcome self-imposed roadblocks and uncover new solutions that foster lasting change. As a visionary and storyteller, Kim inspires others to transform and free themselves from traumatic experiences so they can live the life they want to live and not the life they were told to live. Through her work with victims of childhood abuse and because of her own background of childhood sexual abuse, she understands that everyone is surviving something. Through healing herself, she knows that you can only live your truth once you give voice to the truth of your experiences.
Kim was born and raised in the heart of the Midwest. After college, Kim spent nearly 20 years working in local, municipal and state government. Passionate about running and strength training, Kim became a personal trainer in 2008. It was during this time that she began to cultivate the coaching skills that she discovered within her after embracing the realization that change is always more effective if it starts from the inside out. Kim received her Certified Professional Coach certification through the Life Coach Institute, an organization accredited by the International Coaches Federation. Kim is a professional level member of Engaging Speakers and gives talks on empowerment and motivation.
