Overcoming Mediocrity
EPIC WOMEN
Kathleen Quink Shaw
Being adopted at three months old, Kathleen never felt a sense of belonging. No matter what she did, she never felt good enough for her âparents.â It was a feeling that followed her throughout life, a constant reminder that she was the black sheep in her own family.
Despite the challenges Kathleen faced, she learned to be strong. After all, living in a crib for the first three months of your life is no way to start out. As she grew older, she realized that she didnât want any child to feel the way she did â like they didnât belong or werenât good enough. That is when her lightbulb moment struck â she decided to create programs for busy parents to help them navigate the challenges of raising children and to teach them about the importance of strength and resilience. By sharing her own experiences and knowledge, she hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in her community.
