Joyce Wietrecki

Joyce managed her own home business for 15 years, where she learned success principles from authors like Ken Blanchard, Jack Canfield, Dale Carnegie, Rich DeVos, Napoleon Hill, Og Mandino, John Maxwell and Zig Ziglar. These great authors helped to provide her the foundation of sound business principles. Reading their words of wisdom guided her path to creating an action plan to achieve her dreams.

When faced with finding a job to support her family after a life-changing event, she took a deep breath and jumped into Corporate America. She applied the leadership principles that she had learned to become a manager in the corporate arena.

After 25 years in a corporate position, she took the plunge and started her own consulting business. As CEO of her own venture, Corporate Training Group, Inc., Joyce works with Fortune 500 companies in the consumer goods, retail, and financial services industries. She helps organizations identify solutions to retain high performing employees, create programs to increase productivity and develop leaders to generate sustainable results. She has a proven track record of transforming managers into extraordinary leaders. As a seasoned executive in Corporate America, Joyce specializes in leadership development, performance management and emotional intelligence. Her talent management expertise has been in high demand from blue-chip companies, like AbbVie, American Bar Association, Kraft Heinz Company, Newell Rubbermaid, Reynolds Consumer Products, and Walgreens.

My Story

When Life Changes in a Moment, Hang On!

This is a story of how Joyce turned her life challenges into successes. Growing up in an abusive, neglected household, she had to learn how to fend for herself. This inspirational journey shares highlights of how the most important people in her life, her grandparents, taught her important life lessons of determination, goal setting and resilience. These were her guiding principles. Joyce’s grandfather had many great sayings and one that always drove her work ethic was, “If you’re going to take the time to do something, do it right the first time so you won’t have to do it over.”
