My Story
It’s Never Too Late… Even in The Storm
Elizabeth’s story all began in 2009 when her husband suffered a series of heart attacks and decided to start his life over. As she struggled to come to terms with the end of her marriage, another storm cloud rolled in when her beloved dog was diagnosed with cancer and had to be put to sleep. But the storms didn’t end there. After finally getting a long overdue checkup, the author received a devastating diagnosis of her own — thyroid cancer. Despite the fear and uncertainty that came with her diagnosis, she found the strength to fight back.
