Overcoming MediocrityEPIC WOMEN
Dr. Susie Warden
Growing up in MT allowed Dr. Susie to enjoy an active lifestyle that she wanted to continue throughout her college days and career. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and graduated from Arizona State University with plans to help people change their lives through health and fitness.
She continued her passion for health and helping people as she started her own fitness consulting business at 22 years old in Boca Raton, Florida. She consulted corporations to help get their employees healthier, therefore saving 100’s of thousands of dollars in insurance premiums. She became acutely aware that there were A LOT of people who needed more than fitness consulting! One day, she met a young woman who was a chiropractor, and this conversation changed the trajectory of Dr. Susie’s life.
“I saw this chiropractor help people in ACUTE and chronic pain, and without the use of drugs or surgery, totally change their lives! I decided right then to pursue a degree in chiropractic and never turned back!”
After finishing the prerequisites needed before starting her chiropractic education, Dr. Susie, Chris, her husband, and two children packed up and moved from Florida to Chicago, where she attended the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard. It was 1994 when she started the program; in 1997, Dr. Susie earned her Doctor of Chiropractic, had two more boys, and has been practicing her love of natural healthcare ever since!
She and her husband knew that they would raise the five boys, open multiple offices, and train other chiropractors and healthcare practitioners to work together and help people change their lives to a healthier version. They have been phenomenally successful in all aspects, with a few life-changing challenges, for the past 30 years!
Dr. Susie’s passion is to coach and encourage people, whether in the office or in packed conference rooms, to decide to be a better version of themselves. As a health coach and motivational speaker, she encourages people, through sharing her own life challenges, never to give up on their passion to be better! She likes to do one-on-one sessions with people and encourages them to get out of their comfort zones so they can live the life of their dreams.
She uses her degrees, years of experience, and personal stories to encourage people NOT to settle for less than their dream life! Giving back to her community is also one of Dr. Susie’s passions by speaking to students, professional organizations, women’s groups, and churches. You can find her in Wheaton volunteering at various events and helping people in the community.
This is a story of a real-life NIGHTMARE where she chose to use her strength, POSTURE, and positive character to not only deal with it but walk boldly through it! Dr. Susie chose to use this as a springboard to take her to new heights and help others do the same.
